About 20 miles—Meet in Chestertown or at the Crossroads country store. Bike along the Schroon River and the eastern shore of Schroon Lake to the village of Adirondack where we stop for a snack. Then ride to Brant Lake and back to starting point.

Start in either the city of Glens Falls or from Million Dollar Beach in Lake George. Explore the historical events surrounding the French and Indian Wars and stories surrounding The Last of the Mohicans and the history of Glens Falls. The route is mostly flat and paved.

The ride traverses the beautiful trail along the canal. The canal and towpath today provide recreational opportunities to members of our community as well as providing a glimpse into the past. A truly special ride!
